About Us
Our adventure with Boer Goats began in earnest at the IBGA National Show in Duncan, Oklahoma in July, 2007. We met and fell in love with our buck, Cowboy Tuff and had to bring him home with us. Since that time, we have been diligently working to upgrade our herd by learning all we could about the breed, the genetics and by adding only the best quality animals we could in order to offer the best offspring possible.
Here we are about to complete our 2011 Kidding Season. We have 38 babies on the ground; 4 little bucks, 14 wethers and 20 new does. Ava, our 4 year old granddaughter has her first doe, Starburst, and she is an outstanding little doe from Tuffy Emma, her sister, added Milky Way to her herd - one of Tuffy's babies and Sarah's two year old doe, Sunshine had a really nice wether out of Bullseye. Mr. Wesson gave us his first offspring and Gauge's grandchildren are quite nice. One of the little bucks we are keeping is Wesson's son and we call him 'Tank' - we think he is going to be a really nice prospect. All in all, we are very pleased with the quality of our new babies.
We are located just east of Dallas between Terrell, Texas and Canton, Texas, just south of IH20. If you are ever in the area, we would love for you to stop and visit awhile. We never tire of showing off our four-legged children and would probably have to share a grandchildren story or two.
